Enabling and Configuring Your Home Tab

Objective

This article explains how to enable and configure the Home Tab in your Giving Portal, creating a central hub for giving, prayer requests, event registration, and more.

đź’ˇ Why Use the Home Tab?

The Home Tab acts as a "hub" for all the ways givers or members can get involved with your ministry. You can showcase up to 5 main Featured Forms and additional Event Registration forms.

Note: If your church or ministry has enabled Locations, the main giving portal link will direct givers to the Locations Landing page first, allowing for unique Home Tabs with campus-specific forms per location.

Steps to Enable & Configure Your Home Tab

Step 1: Access Giving Portal Settings

  1. Go to the Giving Portal card in your Primary Settings Menu (⚙️).

Step 2: Enable Home Tab

  1. In your Giving Portal settings, select the Home Tab tab.
  2. Click the toggle to Enable the Home Tab Feature.

Step 3: Customize Home Tab

  1. Select the Location you'd like to customize first (if you have multiple locations).
  2. From the dropdown menu, select which Featured Forms you'd like visible with a correlating header image. You can showcase up to five forms.

💡 Pro Tip: Have the first Featured Form be your Primary Giving form. If this is the only form you have to showcase, enabling the Home Tab may not be beneficial until you have more forms. Learn how to create more forms here.

Step 4: Display Event Registration Forms

  • You have the option to also Display Event Registration Forms. This will showcase all active forms categorized as Event Registration.

💡 Pro Tip: If an Event Registration form is specific to one location, consider including it in the Featured Form section above.

Step 5: Save and Publish

  • Click Save to engage your community.
