We’ve updated the Forgot Password process in embedded Giving forms to better support donors from migrated churches. If a donor still uses their original Giving account (and doesn’t have an Amplify/Unity account), they can now reset their password without any extra steps. The system will automatically handle the reset through the legacy Giving process, ensuring a smooth experience.

Auto Reports
- Anonymous transactions in emailed auto reports (both HTML and CSV versions) will no longer display donor information.
- Donor privacy is maintained by masking names for both anonymous donors and anonymous gifts.
Refund Process for Anonymous Gifts
- Giving admins can now process refunds for anonymous donors while maintaining donor privacy.
- Admins can search for transactions using:
- Order number (provided to donors in their Thank You message)
- Fund, Date, and Amount
- Refund option is available via the tri-dot menu.
Pledge Report Enhancements

Default Optional Processing Fee Not Working As Intended
We've addressed an issue where the optional processing fee wasn't behaving as expected for different payment methods. Here's what we fixed:
- The cover Administrative Fee option now correctly defaults to checked for card payments only.
- When switching from card payment to ACH/echeck, the processing fee checkbox will now automatically uncheck.

Enable Home Tab
- We fixed an issue where some organizations were not able to see the Home Tab within the giving Portal. There may be other organizations that were having this issue and may not have been aware of it. We have fixed the issue for all clients and they will now be able to access their Home Tab as usual with no error.
Apply Pay Button Stretching View on Mobile With Impact Reports
- We fixed an issue where Giving Forms that had Impact Reports and Apple Pay enabled was causing the form to be stretched out past the width of the screen on mobile devices.With this fix, users will now see the form as they should within the mobile device view when selecting Apple Pay (for forms that also have impact reports enabled)
FMS - Fix Express Logo when User is Logged In
- After our last release it was found that the logo's on Express Forms did not adhere to the justification when a donor is logged into their giving account. The Logo previously was staying with the container that did not include the avatar for the user logged in. We have now changed it so that when a Logo is center justified, it will remain in the center of the screen regardless if a user is logged into their account or not.

Removed ChurchMembershipOnline from Data Exports
- We found that this 3rd party server was no longer responsive. Since we are not able to connect with ChurchMembershipOnline, we have removed the Data Export option for this third-party software. You will no longer see this in the dropdown list of Export Profiles as shown below:
- Users who have used this data export prior will need to select a new data export to utilize or choose the CUSTOM data export and select which fields are needed for their reports. Please refer to this article on custom exports
Update form fields to not auto-populate for donors
- We found that donors that have auto-population on their devices were accidentally putting the phone number in the donation amount box - which resulted in some flags of $2B transactions. We have now set it so that form field boxes will not use the auto-populated data from any device.

Important Updates to Customer Support Access Points
Support Tickets and History are now managed within our Help Center
Using our Help Center, beyond simply searching for resources, you can now interact with our team via our AI-enhanced chat, create tickets, view ticket history, and more.
Our best resources and Support options now reside in a single location.
Specifically, the Support option under the Question Mark icon (in the header of our Giving software) has been removed. Instead, users should click Help Center, where all Help and Tickets can be managed simultaneously.
For more information and updated best practices, see Help and Customer Support.
Note: To view past ticket history, you will need to create an account in Help using the same email you use as a giving manager. Please be aware that not every historical ticket may appear in some circumstances.
Changing your Default Payment Type now opens a Help Center Ticket
Under Settings > Default Payment Types, we have updated the "please contact support here" link to redirect users to the Ticket Submission page. This change ensures you're taken to the correct support pages.

Batch Settlement Process - Enhance Batch Settlement Queuing to Prevent Timeouts
- This update addresses timeout issues, ensuring that batch processes are completed within the allowed time frame and reducing the risk of incomplete or missed transactions.
- We have done extensive testing on multiple points of this process to ensure proper functioning.
Donor Matching by Email Address only Issue has been resolved
- We identified and resolved the issue where donor match functionality was using "search type" logic, which is typically reserved for ChMS sync operations. This caused unexpected behavior, particularly for organizations using specific search types.

Enhancements
Removed "Need Help" Link From all Forms
- Removed the "Need Help?" link from the bottom of all FMS forms.
New Wording Added to Forms for Donor Assistance
- Added "Please contact your church or organization if you have questions or need assistance with your donation." at the bottom of the form where "Need Help" used to be.
Default for Administrative Fee is not checked in Form Properties > Payment
- The checkbox for "Apply Optional or Required fee" is no longer checked by default.
- The new default is for new forms to have this box unchecked.
- This is in alignment with Card Company standards.
Fixes
Non-Tax-Deductible setting not respected in Form Properties > Fund List
- This fixed an issue where funds marked as "not tax deductible" were incorrectly appearing under the Tax Deductible - Yes filter in the donor history tab.
Recurring Gifts Skipped
- We have addressed a bug causing some recurring transactions to be skipped due to existing declined records.
Transaction Report > Edit Fund
- This fix improves fund editing functionality in transaction reports, especially for funds mapped through Merchant Account Groups.

Custom Data Export Feature Not Functioning
- The Data Export feature was not functioning as expected. We have addressed this issue and this feature is working at full capacity!
Paid Sign-up Slot includes Venmo Payment Type
- When a form contained a Paid Sign-up Slot, the Venmo payment option was unavailable. This limitation has been successfully addressed in this update. Venmo is available when Paid Sign-up Slots are added to a form.

Donor Payment Method Account Setup
- When Donors clicked the account set-up link from the Donor Import email, they received an error when attempting to save a payment method. This prevented donors from completing their account setup.
- We have urgently addressed this issue, and donors can now successfully interact with the setup link and save their preferred payment method.

Form Analysis Display is Blank
- The form Analysis wasn't showing for some forms across the product. We want to ensure that your concerns have been heard, and we have taken immediate action to resolve this. With this update, Form Analysis will now display correctly for all forms and all the data you expect will be populated in the analysis.

When a Giving account is closed, access to Forms is disabled.
- This issue was stopping FMS from loading within Ministry Brands ChMS. The fix will allow forms to load in that ChMS (and other products) when the associated account has a closed Giving account.

Enhancements
Wording Change: "Processing Fee" is now "Administrative Fee"
- To comply with card branding rules, the term "Processing Fee" has been updated to "Administrative Fee." On forms that require payment, donors will now see the term Administrative Fee as shown below.
In addition, you'll notice this term has been changed within Transaction Reports, Batch Deposit Summary Details, Form Properties > Payment (below), and other places within your Giving software.
We've added a Search Bar for Multi-Location (Campus) Organizations!
- Organizations with multiple locations enabled will notice a new search bar on the Giving Form Location Selection screen. This addition will allow donors to search by the campus or location name rather than scrolling to find their location name. (A "No Results" screen will appear for unsuccessful searches).
Apple Pay Contact Information Verification
- We've implemented a new verification step for Apple Pay transactions. When we cannot verify a valid first name, last name, or address from Apple Pay data, donors will see a pop-up screen to confirm their contact information. First and last names must contain a minimum of three letters. (This will not affect logged-in donors, as we already have their information.) Also, note that a donor's email address cannot be changed during this process.
Enhanced Donor Matching when integrated with Ministry Brands' ChMS
- Enhanced donor matching criteria to include first name, last name, and phone number.
Fixes
Payment Source Type Text was Duplicated
- When exporting the recurring gifts to Excel (CSV), single-word payment source types were shown as doubles (e.g., VenmoVenmo). We have now corrected this for the CSV export.
New Organization Online Giving Sign-Up Application
- When new organizations first sign up for payment processing, the application ("merchant pre-app") Legal Address field states, “PO boxes are accepted." PO boxes are not accepted, and we have updated the text to display “PO BOXES NOT ACCEPTED.”
