Viewing Your Giving Account

Objective

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to update your personal details, change payment methods, and manage account settings in your Giving account. By following these steps, you’ll be able to keep your information accurate and securely manage your giving activity.

 

Why Manage Your Account?

Keeping your account up to date ensures gifts process without interruption, statements reach the right place, and you stay in control of your giving. It also helps your church or organization maintain accurate records and reduces support requests.

 

Before You Begin

  • Estimated Time to Complete: 3–5 minutes
  • Required Role/Permissions: None (donor self-service)
  • What You’ll Need:
    • A logged-in Giving account (see: How to Log Into Your Giving Account)
    • Updated payment method info (if changing cards/bank account)
       

Steps

  1. Access Your Account Settings
    1. Log into your Giving account.
    2. Click the blue circle with your initials (upper right).
    3. Select My Account from the dropdown.

       

  2. Update Personal Info
    • Inside My Account → Personal Info, you can:
      • Change your name or address
  • Update your email address
  • Add or edit your phone number

     

  1. Update Account Info
    1. Inside My Account → Account Info, you can:
      • Reset your password
      • Manage your email/phone login options

  2. Manage Payment Methods

    1. Inside My Account → Payment Methods, you can:
      1. Add a new credit card or bank account
      2. Edit existing payment information
      3. Remove old or expired payment methods

         

    ⚠️ Note: If you have recurring gifts linked to an old card, update your payment method before removing it.

  3. Manage Linked Locations
    1. If you give to more than one church or organization, use the Churches section to:
      • View all connected organizations
      • Link a new church or ministry
      • Remove a church you no longer give to

 

FAQ

  • Can I delete my account completely?

    Accounts are tied to giving history for reporting purposes. If you wish to stop using your account, remove payment methods and recurring gifts, but your history will remain accessible.

  • What happens if I update my email address?

    Your new email becomes your primary login. You’ll use it next time you sign in.

  • Why can’t I remove a payment method?

    If it’s tied to an active recurring gift, update the recurring gift with a new payment method first.
