How to Add or Change Your Payment Method

Add a new payment method to your giving account or update an existing one. This ensures your gifts process smoothly using your preferred payment option.

 

Add or Update a Payment Method

  1. Log in to your giving account.
  2. Click your initials in the upper-right corner and select My Account.
    Mobile Users: Click the menu icon at the top-left corner, then select My Account
  3. Select the Payment Methods tab.
  4. Click Add Payment Method to add a new card or account.

 

Choose Your Payment Type

Select from the following options:

  • Credit card or debit card
  • Bank account (ACH)
  • Google Pay
  • Apple Pay (iPhone)
  • PayPal
  • Venmo

Note: Available payment options depend on what your church or organization has enabled.

 

Enter Your Payment Information

Fill in the required fields:

  • Name on the card or account
  • Billing address
  • Expiration date or account and routing number

Optionally, mark the payment method as the Default Payment Method so it is used automatically for future gifts. Click Save when you're done.

 

Edit or Remove a Payment Method

From the Payment Methods tab, you can:

  • Edit existing payment information
  • Remove old or expired payment methods

Important: If a payment method is linked to an active recurring gift, assign a new payment method to that gift before removing the old one.

 

Update Payment Methods on Recurring Gifts

If you're replacing a card or account for an existing recurring gift:

  1. Add the new payment method under My Account > Payment Methods.
  2. From the top menu, select Scheduled.
  3. Select the recurring gift you want to update.
  4. Click Edit and assign the new payment method.
  5. Click Save.

Important: Updating your payment information doesn't automatically update existing scheduled gifts. You must edit each recurring gift individually to assign the new method.

Why can't I remove a payment method?

If the payment method is linked to an active recurring gift, you must update that gift with a new payment method first, then remove the old one.

Can I add more than one payment option?

Yes. You can store multiple payment methods and select which one to use for each gift.

What happens if I update a payment method?

Updating your payment information doesn't automatically apply to existing scheduled gifts. You must manually edit each recurring gift to assign the new payment method.
